My invaried conversation topics. Any offers for replacement? I feel sad and could really do with understanding people to talk to.

This place is about as understanding as it gets. What shall we talk about?

I don't know. I feel sad because I cannot keep friends for very long before they find me boring to talk to and I understand why this is but I can't help it.

Socializing is a skill that can be learned and practiced. It may take some longer than others to become proficient, but anyone can do it. Have you tried reading any self help books on the subject and practiced with someone you trust?

And how do you know your were boring? Did they say so?

I don't trust anyone but yes I have read many books on it. I am not even sure I want to since nothing can be gained.
I can sometimes socialise but it terms of making genuine friendships I can't maintain them for very long. And yes I was told.

What's your idea of an ideal friend?

What do you usually talk about? Is it because you find other topics of conversation boring?

I've seen both movies but never read the book. Are the movies a fair adaptation?

Hey again guys. Still very much alone. Yes it is. I like The Wicker Man (original version) a lot but I'm not obsessive about it. And yes, I do like horror films and also the TV programme South Park which was my main interest for a long while. Well, I guess I am just very boring. Also I don't really enjoy conversation in itself, as I assume might be true for many Autistic people and I get upset to the point of having suicidal thoughts very easily if people say certain things, so I really don't feel inclined to talk to anyone unless it is about the very specific topic that interests me, but then and again, I get lonely a lot.

The 1973 version, yes. I find the Nicholas Cage remake terrible though.
