I don't even know if I have aspergers or not. I'm still debating that for myself. While I do have many symptoms of it, such as not making eye contact, being sensitive to loud sounds and social skills that leave something to be desired, and talk a bit fast but I completely understand sarcasm, body language, and can empathize with people, unless I don't like them lol.

I also think that I may have social anxiety disorder. I'm a very quiet person and I can get very nervous when I have to speak in public, or when I am meeting new people or when I'm in crowds.

I don't really know for sure what I have, if I even have anything.

Hi AJ89! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Check out the many interesting and helpful forums here. It is not necessary to have every trait of any condition or disease in order to have the condition or disease. Go to the General Autism forum here at WP. There is at least one post there with links to online tests you can take to see if it is likely that you have an Autism spectrum disorder. Save the results of your online tests, and print out at least two copies. Keep one for your records. If you want an official diagnosis, bring the other copy with you to give to the psych doc. Only seek an official diagnosis from a psych doc who has experience working with people on the Autism spectrum. If you are an adult it would be best if the psych doc has experience with adults on the spectrum.

Hope this helps. You are among friends here at WP! :D
