Is this the best place to post this?

I would like to let those intrested to know....
Since I've only been here a short while what would you think if I told you I collect Actions figures and Diecast cars? (like hotwheels/Macthbox) of that I play many different kinds of video games?
I'm not A little kid so you know... But I Still enjoy a lot of the things I liked as a kid...
Like Transformers, GIJOE, Marvel superhero's(like spiderman)

So this Who else thinks like this... That You should never give up your favorite things just becuase your older.
And please don't Say that I'm to old to play with toys... I will always enjoy The Transformers Robots In Disguise!! !

This is a good thing right?

I played with barbie dolls 'til I was 16. I just stopped because I was afraid someone will find out and will make fun of me, and I also started college, found a job and did not have time to play anymore. I am glad you are able to continue enjoying playing without feeling ashamed as I did. My daughter is only 11 and she already feels ashamed of playing with toys. :(

I actually LOVE toys. If you ever see a weird looking twenty year old strolling through a toy aisle looking excitedly at toys, it might just be me :D . I love Ball Jointed Dolls, they're these super cool dolls with crazy articulation. They've gained quite a bit of a following lately. I have one, and I plan on getting another. People spend thousands on the things. I loved diecast cars when I was little. I've got two buckets of old Hot Wheels somewhere in my basement.

Where could I Post a list of my collection of toys? and ask others to post their's or with they have any?

I think there is a better spot on this website to ask this... where should i do that?

I'd really like to know where to start a new post to ask "Do you have a toy collection"

then maybe you could tell me what you like? but not till i know where to post it...
aslo I really would like to share my youtube videos featuring my toy's in life like situations...
like a battle where characters from many worlds face each other?
it is done with stop motion animation... i have another post all about that... in the TV, music, and movies section...
or whatever it's supposed to be called...

I love toys, comics,videogames etc.
I guess that is why I work at a comic shop as well. There is no reason to ever stop collecting toys. I spent this weekend at san diego comic con picking up all kinds of toy exclusives and I hate crowds but dealt with it just so I could get the cool toys

I guess if you're good at turning over your collection on Ebay or something it can be an okay hobby. I speak from experience.

While I had regular employment I built up a collection then I was laid off and suddenly had to figure out what to do with all this "Stuff".

I would still say it can be neat to have a few items but be really picky about what you buy. I let myself get into a collecting culture where some people had shelves of items. I also made the mistake of buying Sets. I really shouldn't have taken it as far as I did.

I downsized quite a bit but I still have a few. In particular a 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime I'll keep.

It's not weird at all, I love it when people still embrace their inner kid and aren't ashamed of it. My roommate still buys My Little Ponies. I still have a tin box filled with crayons and a few coloring books. Coloring is relaxing to me. I also have a box full of stuffed animals. ....I sleep with a stuffed animal, too. Heck, I still watch cartoons. Who was excited Nickelodeon brought back the 90's shows and cartoons? THIS GIRL.

I guess it would be ok to say one of my favorite and most prized toys is the commemorative edition generation 1 Soundwave.

there are even has some diecast parts on soundwave!
Plus the cassete bots!

he turns into a (non working) cassete player this is the real soundwve toy for a real fan of that tranformer with a cool voice!

As Soundwave has always said from the start..

"screams of tererror are music to my audio receptors"

Does any one other than me own a beast wars Dethcharge figure? he turns into a manta ray...

Didn't they just? Our cartoons were kind of messed up, but soo amazing. It seriously made my entire summer when they started airing, what was it, last week? I hope this isn't a temporary thing, Nick should devote *every night* to 90's cartoons from now on.

I'm watching it right now and All That was just on. It started like a few nights ago. Yeah instead of Nick @ Night it should be 90's cartoons and shows at night!! Kenan and Kal is on now!!

Um.... I thought this was about toys not cartoons...

cartoons are can be good but I'd rather hear answers to my question about toys...
please feel free to post stuff about cartoons 'cuase it is still along the lines of the earlier question... I think...
