Hi my names ollie im new and diagnosed AS.

I wanted to compare symptoms with other people so im just going to throw them out there:

* Early Awakenings 4-5am
* Doing the same things eveyday ( repetivive behaviours for instance going to the same shop then the library ect looking at my phone every 5-10 minutes despite there being no one calling ect)

* Repeating words to myself "Genetic Engineering"

* Extreme difficulty in interpreting other people when im talking to them i,e reading body language of other people and talking alot about one sided things and interests.

Intense interests such as painting models, observing ants nests/behavioural patterns world of warcraft, paintings using paint on the p.c ( Im quite good at it now) listening to the same songs other and other, with not much imagination socially.

* Staring at the floor alot and making hand movements like dinosaurs ect.

* Extreme discomfort around other people possibly stemming from my inability to read other people I think for example taking people very literally when they say things or coming to the conclusion someone is against me despite they insist they are not.

* Feeling different alot


I have more symptoms but cant think of them right at this moment I will update.

Im just looking to relate to other people here I guess.

some of what you have reminds me of what i have, namely symptoms of schizotypal personality disorder. but your mileage may vary.

p.s.- when i first read the heading, i thought for some reason, that it was going to be about the late actor lawrence olivier.
