Hi there, everyone!
I've been diagnosed with schizoid personality disorder and social anxiety disorder. I don't know if I have Asperger's (which is incompatible with schizoid PD according to the DSM), but many people (including three mental health professionals 
) have suspected that I may have Asperger's. Either way, I figured I'd be able to relate to a lot of you on here.
Anyway, I'm an undergraduate college student studying psychology. Nearly all of my time is spent reading, watching TV, being on the computer, and playing video games.

I personally don't get what the personality disorders really are about. It doesn't seem right. It seems more like a way of social control via the psychiatry/psychology science, saying you should not be like this or that and just stop doing it. It seems even more wrong when the person getting the diagnosis don't understand why he/she is getting it. If that's the case I would guess you are more likely to have Aspergers.
