Hi guys.
For the next line I would refer you back to the subject line, I'm too lazy to type that in again.
No, there's not much of my poetry online. Usually when I post in a forum it is to reply to other people's posts. Starting posts is really not my forte'. I saw on someones intro, or their signature tag that they prefer to communicate in questions. I get that. I'm guessing a lot of ppl here get that.
But, boy howdy! When someone posts something that inspires me, I expend a great deal of creativity in responding. And that is where you will read my most creative stuff.
However, I have stuff I can post here if you would like to read it. I'll paste a short one right here, and you can tell me if you'd like to see more.
This one is called:
The Dreamers of the Winter Wood
The dreamers of the Winterwood are beginning their work.
The night hovers in the background.
There!
A portrait is tossed high into the night, it is a window painted on the darkness.
Far below, a courtyard. And an enchanted wind to entice the leaves to dance.
(Listen now!)
Eaves. Not there! Not to be seen, but heard, composed as a fugue to mark their rightful place in the work.
A neophyte carries supplies. But wait! The child trips over a dreamers whim, and splashes the night with bright droplets of yellow, blue, and green.
A splash of silver becomes a potential moon, but for now it is only a lamp silhouetted by the one who waits in the window.
That's it. What do you think?
(don't worry about hurting my feelings, I have good strong man leather for skin.
Thanx,
