I've been following a few of the conversations on here and finally became a member. I'm a 43 old male and was just recently diagnosed with Asperger's, which explained a lot of what my life has consisted of to date. The username "MachineGod" is a reflection of my interests and skill-set. Some might look at it as something more than that, but it isn't. Just a belief system I have put together to help me get through the many years of my life and to stay true to my conviction: Building Stuff!

I'm a "visual thinker". It's funny how I always thought that everybody had this "rolodex" of images in there heads that they could access at will! Crazy complicated, but I've managed to harness it and use it's potential to "build" my life and career.

I welcome all questions and I trust that I can be a positive voice to those who ask.

Hi & Welcome,
What you said reminded me of how I used to work on some of the complex electronic warfare systems. I learned things in a different way then others and more thought of the machine as a living entity with a brain (cpu), veins (wires), blood (data) and muscles and limbs (moving parts). I was terrible at basic electronics... it never would stick, but could learn and retain the logic behind how a system worked. With this sorta pathetic skill, yet I worked up to be on the best 3 person team on one of the Air Forces most complicated systems.
