Hi, I'm from Australia too.

I saw the "most recent posts" on the front page of the site, and I notice the quote from "Nineteen Eighty-Four". Loved the novel, although poor old Orwell (whose real name was Eric Blair) is a bit of a pessimist...

Rolling Stones has published a great article on the Iraq Vietnam. It puts Bush's War in to perspective.

"Nelson" could not have written it any better.

Oh brillant! This is coming at a time when I just commenced a part of my abortion paper (for R.E) where I basically just waffle on about abortion not being a 'just war' in the case of aborting Autistic Foetuses. Yeh...at this rate...we'll have a load of people *ahem* 'interested' in war.

Ahh...

A fellow thinker. I, the Crimson King am the greatest philosopher to ever live. I declare democracy to be the worst system of government, except for every other form of government.

(Welcome, I know it's a Churchill quote)

G'day Jake and Welcome to WP.

So is your hobby snuff movies, or big bore target shooting (I like the latter, not that you would call Lee Harvey's carcano "big bore")

.... But OMFG - Gearge f***ing Orwell ! !! !

I was tortured by sadistic teachers who made me read 4 f***ing books by George f***ing Orwell.

Try Ayn Rand.
