Hello!

I've recently realised how insecure I am about friendships. So I was trawling the internet to see what other peoples thoughts were.
I have found that often people don't understand how insecure one can be and that I've been overly concerned about whether people are being freaked out by my insecurity.
An old forum on here reassured me that I'm not utterly barking and other people have very similar experiences to me. This is an Autism and Aspergers forum. I don't know whether I have these conditions or not, but it is interesting to note that I am not alone.

Welcome to WP. You don't need to an ASD to be insecure, but people with an ASD seem to have a higher tendency to feel this way. In any case, I hope you find this forum helpful.
