Hello, I'm Liam.

I'm 19, from Scotland, and I am possibly due to be diagnosed with aspergers. After being admitted to hospital for a few months about a year ago, I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, and auditory hallucinations. In the last few months, my new psychologist, new occupational therapist and a lady I see from Penumbra, have all said that they think I have aspergers. My psychologist believes I don't have BPD, just aspergers. She did a screening with me, for which the cut off point is 65. I scored 211, so I guess she's right. My psychiatrist however, disagrees, so they're arguing about it at the moment, which isn't helping me at all.

So, that's my aspergers story. I'm joining this forum to learn more about aspergers, and meet people like me.

I'm a student, studying animal care at college. I have a dog, and a lizard soon hopefully.

Psychiatrists like disorders that can be successfully treated with drugs because they give them something to do.

Arguing over what to label you seems kind of silly.
