Hey how's that for alliteration?!
I thought it's about time I introduced myself so here goes.
I'm 39 and maried with 2 kids. I've got a daughter aged 9 and a son aged 7. My son has AS.
I live in south-west Wales, and I currently work for a government department. I'm in the process of looking for a new job because the office politics is getting too much.
My interests/obsessions are music (I'm into Rockabilly, Rhythm & Blues and early Garage Rock. I'm a huge Link Wray fan), classic cars (particularly Morris Minors) and nostalgia hotrods.
I was diagnosed with AS 3 years ago, and it helped answer a lot of questions I'd been asking myself!
I'm involved with my local NAS branch and I'm presently in the process of organising a Social Skills and Communications training course for adult Aspies in my locality.
Some of you in here I recognise from the Aspie Hangout, so they'll probably find this intro boring in an "old news" kind of way.
Right, that's enough about me, hope to make some new friends in here.

Thanks for your introduction... and yes, excessive office politics is b.s. I've been there myself. It's always a wonder in life to get longstanding questions, isn't it? It helps put at least a few of the pieces together on the puzzle of life. Nice to hear you are so involved as well.
