Hi, Wrong Planet

I am mid-20s male with AS. I have known about it since my early years. My passions are sci-fi, writing, and the martial arts. Part of the reason, I am trying this is to make new friends with AS. So what can you tell me about yourself?

Hello and welcome!
I am autistic and was diagnosed offically several years ago. My passions include reading, drawing, writing, research, mythology and martial arts. But I must point out I don't actually practice any form of martial arts, because with my coordination, I would just wind up breaking my neck. Still,I love watching it and researching it. Among my top ten favorites are Krav Maga, Mai Tai and Karate.
So anyway, I hope you find all you wishd to find here. On the whole, I've found being a part of wrongplanet to be a good experience.

I guess since somebody else said a bit about themself as a reply, I'll say a bit too.

I'm a newbie here, I'm fourteen going on forty basically, not that age matters here.

I was diagnosed two years ago and I love reading, writing and fighting/weaponry. I always wanted to join martial arts, and my coordination isn't bad, I'm just afraid to ask.

I also love sci-fi and factual stuff. I'll read anything informative

I recommend taking up martial arts training, its worth it. My AS does not seem bad after five years of training. I took karate as a kid, but I quit. I was afraid to take it up again until years later. Now I can't stop! : D
