so, i think should probably introduce myself.
i'm an eighteen year old film student from canada. i like horses and doctor who and harry potter and animal behaviour and film and television.
i don't have a spectrum diagnoses but i've highly suspected it for years. i've been diagnosed with OCD/GAD/SAD/MD/Trich/Derm and i'm still in recovery for my eating disorder.

so you see i've had a lot of labels thrown at me, and i'm trying to figure out what they mean and if they're true and what to do with them. -anyways, been very very isolated as of late, thought i would try to find some like-minded individuals who can understand hating sock seams and having to cover your ears and hum when your ipod dies and you're on the bus or being able to talk about doctor who for at least three hours. so yeah, that is all.

Wow that is a lot of acronyms! It makes me sort of jealous. In our ficticious seperate Aspian country, it would be like degrees after your name and very prestigious. Just kidding of course. :wink: :lol: Welcome to WP, where those types of things you mentioned are essentially normal.

I know! And all these diagnoses have been contested and debated by various psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists.
