I'm new, and bad at introducing myself. I'm not an aspie, I'm an autie. I'm not very high functioning at all, and am not good at making friends. I would like friends, but I always alienate people. I have things I like to do, like gardening, and cooking, I'm very good at those things. I have a dog that I really like too. She's a chihuahua. I'm on ssi, which makes me depressed. I've always wanted a lasting job, not even a fancy one, just one that I'd be good at, but I can't do math, and can't follow instructions very well, unless I'm shown step by step, and used to get tricked into doing things by coworkers that got me fired. I'm sorry if my introduction is kind of boring, but I don't really know what to say, and am bad at introducing myself.

Well Asperger is a form of Autism, so most of us around here are autists.

I am really bad at math (dyscalculia) and I love my garden, it is so relaxing to do garden work.

Welcome to WP,
I have two half chihuahuas that are like my best friends. Very people orientated and need a lot of attention and love to be happy. Or maybe they just have me well trained. :lol: There is a Post a pic of your pet thread around here somewhere if you have a pic of your dog.

Thank you all for welcoming me I would love to find where you can post your pet, because I got her a halloween costume, and she looks very cute in it, lol.

Hi and welcome. I think whether you are high functioning or not there seems to be a lot that we all have in common. I have a feeling my wife would enjoy seeing your dog in a costume - she goes silly for that sort of thing

That. Asperger Syndrome is a variant/kind of autism.

And my numerical memory sucks.
