Hello ...

My long-distance wife said I should do a couple tests for autism online. I did two and was 32 on one (which was at the border between "above average" and "very high" sections so I figure "high" is the result) and that one said most high functional Asperger Syndrome people are average 35. Anyway , I don't know if I fall into this catagory but all I can say is I've had a life differnt than most people I've seen around me.

As a kid I was obsessed with building things with lego. I always made much better things than anyone else LOL. Building things with lego as a kid are my fondest memories.

As a teenager, I was pertty unsociable. I spent my time alone and was into backyard astronomy. I would draw all the objects I saw (including drawings for all 110 Messier objects) and have them orgainzed in catalogs. I still have drawings of Halley's Comet at various stages , many other comets too , many drawings of Jupiterand Mars, drawings of sunspots and lunar features too.

I'm a visual artist and make my living doing that. I tend to do a lot of stylized abstract dog commissions as part of my income as dog-obsessed people like having their dogs represented. I also do various other types of paintings in the usual traditional catagories but stylized ( still life, women, landscapes, and sometimes very symbolic ones).

I have been a bit obsessed with MS FLight SImulator for several years and have takien countless screenshots and organized them on my website according to their locations in the world (using a clickable map interface).

I like to improvise on guitar and if I had the money I would have a huge guitar collection haha (there are just too many cool guitars).

I don't know if I have Asperger's or what but I've always thought I had something that most people I was around didn't have LOL . I've never fit into any social situation really (school , work) but I always assumed that I had social phobias.

Well that was quite a lot of info ... probably too much.

Anyway ... it's 3am here and I probably should sleep (I've always been a 'night owl')

Does anyone have any good sites to see about Asperger's ?

Thanks for the welcome.

The 8290 was the last 4 digits of a former telephone number :lol:

I liked it because I like numbers 2 and 9 and even the 8 and 2 added to be 11 whose digits add to be 2 so I liked the phone number. I don't really believe in numerology but I guess I just like numbers 2 and 9.

In grade 6 I suddenly realised the 9 times table had special properties. Each digit in the results add to be nine. and as you run up and down each column, the ascend and descend by one and are mirrors of each other (probably doesn't make sense).

1x9 =09
2 x9=18
3x9=27
4x9=36
5x9=45
6x9=54
7x9=63
8x9=72
9x9=81
9x10=90

so 18 = 1=8 = 9 , 27 = 2+7=9 etc
and the two columns in the answers at right each inversely mirror each other

so 90 is at the bottom and 09 is at the top etc

I just found the 9 times table quite cool although I'd say that's the extent of my interest in numbers LOL :lol:

What kindof quitars do you like DrowningMedusa

After listening to many examples of Gretsch with bigsby vibrato for that cool vibrato chord effect, I'm hoping someday to get this Gretsch.

Right now I have a Godin SDxt , a Yamaha AES800 and an old late 70's (I think) El Degas Gibson ES355 type copy. I also have a Squier bass and a La Patrie Etude classical guitar (not as thickly coated as some higher priced ones and the red cedar top on this particular one really has a bell-like tone). La Patrie is in Quebec and is a part of the whole Godin company.

The Les Paul is my fave (besides the Gretsch, of course *drools over above pic*)

It's funny they didn't teach you that! We were taught that when we learned the multiplication tables, along with the rule of "five times (any number) = (a number that ends in 5 or 0)"

I was never taught anything like that (Most likely why I failed my Maths GCSE).
I am not very good at Maths, though with extra classes I am slowly learning.
I am however, fascinated by the patterns in numbers, such as the 9 times tables or cubing and squaring numbers.
