My name is Michael and I am about to turn 39. I was unofficially diagnosed 12 years ago and officially diagnosed with Aspergers shortly after my son was diagnosed with Moderate Autism about 3 years ago(he is now going on 5 years old). Yes, we are a father & son team on the spectrum with I guess is uncommon but not unheard of. I even found some topics on this site regarding the topic, which is why I decided to go ahead and join. I am a single parent now because his mother could not handle me and we have agreed to split custody. He has learned to deal with two separate households quite well, but my routine changes have caused some more anxiety and depression.

I will stop myself here and just say that I look forward to interaction on here.

Thank you for the welcome. I have seem many people who think their dad is an aspie, I know that.
