It's that time of year again.

Is anyone here dressing up for Halloween? What are you going to wear?

As for myself, just my usual clothes. No dress up at all. If I did dress up, it would be for myself only without going anywhere. Kind of like the guy in Mozart and the Whale who would normally dress up as a whale and stay home.

But my idea of dressing up would be to wear something unusual, for Texas anyway, but not really a costume. If I had a Norwegian bunad, there is a good chance that I'd put it on. Or maybe a full dress Scottish kilt and all accessories if I had such an outfit.

Years ago, I considered buying a first rate monks robe. Someone asked me why I would get that and I told them to wear to baseball games. Surprisingly, they thought that was an excellent idea.

I won't, but at work we've been joking abut dressing up as Honey Boo Boo. Or Honey Boo Boo carrying her Mum, or Honey Boo Boo as a zombie.

I thought these ideas were scary indeed ! !

I'm going to dress as the Eleventh Doctor again. I'm going to go to one of my writing groups as him and wear the costume again on Halloween.

If I was going as Doctor Who, I'd have to be the first doctor. My hair's the right color these days.

I'm dressing as a bum. Yeah, I know. I look like a homeless bum everyday anyway. At least I'll still be in character.

All black. I'm going as a 'dead, angst-ridden musician'. Although, I'm also staying home with the lights out, so technically I'm not anything.

We don't really celebrate it where I live. When I was living in Sydney and hung out with the Goth contingent, I did go as...
-Wednesday Addams
-Abby from NCIS
-Mina Harkness
-Alice in Wonderland (with a goth twist)
