Hi everyone!
I'm the mother of a 19 year old Aspie. My DS is very dependent on me and struggling to find his independence. Oddly enough, I've become dependent on him, in some ways, as caring for him has caused my own life to come to a screeching halt. I'm single and I've had no social life....I work at home which seems to be compounding my own feelings of isolation. I'm praying I can connect with other Aspie parents and young adults, in hopes of not only restoring some freedom in my own life but also helping my son transition to adulthood.
I look forward to meeting everyone!
