31/m/Perth, Australia. I was diagnosed in 2010, but didn't really think much of it at the time and kept on trucking in life.
Now things are a bit different, so I'm looking into it alot more. My diagnosis at the time was for "mild" Asperger's but I would consider it something more like moderate+. Personally I prefer the term High Functioning Autism too, the syndrome part of the name holds some fairly negative connotations, at least for me.
I'm looking forward to exploring this forum and what it may hold. Hope to meet many of you, especially Australian and Perth-based aspies (if there are any, curse this small town).
