well, I am back.
maybe forever.
if you don't know me, my name is Anna.
I am nineteen.
I love the show South Park.
mostly I love Kenny.
he always goes away but then comes back.
I love my tennis balls.
I love my Kenny hat.
right now I have been very busy.
I finished high school.
I am due to start college in January.
I am excited.
I have been busy helping my house make jars for a project.
we had to go shopping for them today, but I wandered off to Great Escape.
and guess what I saw?
a Nintendo DS, a used one.
It cost $64.50.
I tried to buy it, but I didn't have my ID.
I needed my ID because they could not tell it was really me using my card.
I said, "It's me."
but they did not believe me.
I do not lie, ever!
I wonder why nobody believed me.
I am me, I am nobody else.
I do not steal other people's cards and use them to buy things.
I have my own card for that, thank you.

They are required to check your ID in some stores. If you don't have it, they can't let you use the card. It's the store's and the credit card companies' rule. They are very strict about it.

Don't take it personally that it seemed they didn't believe you. The store/person could have lost the right to process credit and debit cards if anyone ever found out they let you use a debit card when they hadn't seen your ID. They very well may have believed you are who you say you are, but they cannot risk ever losing the ability to accept credit/debit cards.
