I'm portrayed accurately by any authoritative description of Asperger's, although I'm also well aware that hypochondria could be a better label. It would be satisfactory if anonymous, empathic people could pore over my every utterance and determine, from the safe distance of the internet, that I indeed have a syndrome of distinction. I would wield my status as a sharp tool to cut away these bonds that restrain me from interacting with my fellow humans. I want to stand up, pop a pill, and succeed in life by measuring up to social expectations, biological urges, financial greed, and the like. But none of the pills, religions, books, or friends can fix my averted glance. So I find inexpressible fascination with my hobbies, but I'm dying to be like others.

Hi!

I would say you fit in very well with us here, but I don't understand some of the idioms you used to describe yourself.

Welcome to the forum!

Hi cdEcdEcdE, and welcome to WP

I must say the eloquence of your opening message is in splendid contrast to your
slightly disorientating user name !

Thanks for the warm reception and hello, pluto, larsenjw92286, Starr, Fiz, ZedSimon, computerlove, CockneyRebel, and Tim-Tex.

What does the nick mean, eh? It's three sets of double loops, three sets of two vertical lines, and three sets of three horizontal lines. "cdE" is also repetitive keyboard stroke that I got obsessed with typing, and all of the letters are a placed on the physical keyboard to the "North West" of the one before it, terminated at the "3" key. And how do you pronounce it? I see it as a single, silent letter, but I suppose you could say "kuh-Deck'-decked", which is how I described a musical pattern I recently heard. Or just ignore the repetition and call me "Seedy-E".

Sorry to disorient, sorry for the obtuse idioms, pleasure to meet you all, and what's a Routemaster?

Hi there. Nice delegation. Thanks for sending me to the front of the line to receive my portion of normalcy.

hi cdEcdEcdE, very interesting explanation of your nick, and again, welcome.

I think I'll stay with the "Seedy-E" pronunciation, it's more catchy :P
