My name is Jake. I'm 21 and live in Rochester, NY. I'm not much of talker but I like getting to know new people. I'm going to kind of unload a little in this message. My life is a wreck and am experiencing severe depression. I'm about to fail out of college, I've lost my job, I've lost my girlfriend, Soon to lose my apartment. I've lost my health, and I've lost my sanity. I feel emotionally drained and feel like Its impossible to adapt to the world around me. Thats my story so far.

I always thought I was meant for something great but now I look at myself and want to puke. I thought I'd have a degree by now but I'm a potential college drop out with no job and no money and find myself often strolling into bars until 2 in the morning getting hammered to the point of blacking out because I feel like thats the only way to get out of the glass box I live in. Its the only way for me to feel like I'm not alone even for just a few hours because I'm too drunk to think about how lonesome and sad I am on a nearly constant basis.

I've definitely been there so I understand how everything seems so bad now but I can say that things do get better.
