Extreme reluctance to interact with people

I find I am isolating myself more and more. Even "around'' other people, I feel nervous about interacting. On my time off from work, I tend to stay in my house, often not even getting out of my pj's. Sleeping intermittantly through the day. Mild anxiety over...what? Reluctance to even go out doors.

Suggestions please. Including med's I might ask my med's doc about

Depression maybe? Also sounds pretty similar to anxiety to me.

It sounds to me (now that I think more about it), it's a mix of depression and anxiety (agoraphobia?). I kinda know what you're going through to an extent. Depression kept me in my house, but I never truly felt anxiety until a few years ago (smoked too much pot & it gave me problems). And I honestly wish I hadn't felt the panic attacks & anxiety.

It's more fear/no self-esteem for me that keeps me inside. Unless someone I know & like comes to ask me if they want to go do something (sports, traveling, etc). I don't really initiate anything, & rarely do.
