Hi Everyone,

First time posting after reading the forums for a while... I'm in my early 40's with 3 sons, one on the spectrum. Married to an NT who thankfully sees past my quirks. Trying to hang onto some lifelong friends by acting NT but it's exhausting.

Feeling a little tired of accidentally pissing people off and not understanding social clues. feigning interest in the minutiae and small talk of NT's. I've always felt my like my brain was on a different bandwidth than others but never knew why. Since my then 2 year old son Kamryn was diagnosed with Autism it's really helped me begin to understand myself better as I wasn't even aware of Aspergers until then.

Trying to stay optimistic and hopeful. Just hoping to meet some kindred spirits and make sense of a really confusing world.
