Hi all! I just discovered this place while reading an article about Asperger's syndrome on Wikipedia, and thought I'd come make myself at home. Maybe make some new friends while I'm at it! Anywho, I'm an undiagnosed / self-diagnosed adult, going on 24 now. After some years of grasping at straws, I and my family have both pretty much come to the conclusion of Asperger's, or at least a similar autism spectrum disorder. My unfortunate past includes such misdiagnoses as ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, and major depression. Right now I'm just ready to get a clear answer and maybe - FINALLY - start my life on the right path. It's been rough so far, but I feel like I've found what I've been searching for, and I hope that with time and a little support, things will work out for the best.

I see you have set your profile to "Always show my email address" = YES rather than NO. This means your email address is visible to every spammer and scammer on the internet who will take joy in filling your inbox with crap. If you don't want this to happen I suggest you change the setting to NO before the spammers harvest your email address.

I also want to say I -LOVE- your icon, noxnocturne. That's one of my favorite movies!
And a thank you to the advice, TallyMan. I suppose that was a little naive. All fixed now.
