Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am a grandmother of an 8 yr old with Aspergers. I have custody of him and am in the middle of the adoption process. His name is Tyler and is the light of my life. Not saying we don't have our rough times because trust me we have plenty of them, but his adorable smile and quirky vocabulary more than makes up for it. I hope to get to know some of you because I sure could use some advice.

The main thing I wish my parents did was LISTEN. You will be amazed how smart kids actually are - well I was and still am with my relatives.

I hope thats not misplaced here - i can sense your love and i'm sure so can he.
