Hi. I'm new here and the next step seems to be starting a thread to say hello.
I am not yet diagnosed and I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing so, although I have researched it. I really hope I have Aspergers as it would explain a lot of my behaviours and why I seem to have serious issues with people and all that they entail. I first thought it about six years ago but I've managed to convince myself it can't be true. So I'm hoping I can normalise it or at least find somewhere to fit in by being here.

hi, kaede, your story is not hard to read. it's a story many older aspies can relate to. I always knew I had trouble with social skills. I didn't know it was AS until my nephew was diagnosed. I did some reading about him and found myself described. so, at 55 I realized I was an aspie.
