im paul im vary nerves i have never talk to any one online before. i have asd and mildly develop mentaly disabeld sorry about my spelling i only spell at the 2nd to 3rd grade level i have extreme socal anixity issuses but i force my self to try new things and i hope to meet new pepole thanx.

Don't be nervous...

I had a man come in shopping tonight where I work... he had me ring up a ton of stuff... saw the total and one thing by one he had me void it off... not by cost - but by what I last rang up.

He had me put it back on the shelves.

Ten minutes later he came back up with completely different items. Saw his total and had me void off the last 5 items.

He did this cycle five times.

Was it nerve wracking for me? Yes. (we are not supposed to void too many items in a day) Was it extra work for me to put back his items? Yes.

Did he upset my co workers doing this to me? Yes.

Did he upset me? No. Not one bit. By the end of the first transaction I became aware that he was not able to read or to do math. He was matching the totals to totals of numbers he knew to be safe within the balance of his food card. He chose food based off what he has had in the past and what pictures appealed to him.

So don't be nervous here

Sometimes misunderstandings can happen... even on WP.. But my experiences here have all been positive minus a few hiccups.. but hiccups happen in life.. they are annoying but a hiccup can never really hurt us

I've found that on this site we may fight or get ruffled, but people usually apologize if they realize you've been offended. Whereas on another site they openly called me stupid, and then said it was my fault.
