So I signed up here over a year ago when I was first diagnosed with Asperger's, but haven't been on much since. I'm just now beginning to accept that this is who I am, so I came back here for support and to make some friends


This is me!



My interests are:
Reading - I love classics and horror novels. My fav authors are Steinbeck & Stephen King.
Cooking - I love trying new dishes whenever I get the chance. Mexican food is my favorite!!
Veganism - I've been vegan for about 6 months and I love it! Reading up on animal rights issues and food politics has become a passion of mine.

I used to be a vegetarian, but I married a carnivore. at least, we don't eat red meat.

vegetarianism is healthier, better for the environment, more sustainable, and sure a lot nicer for the animals that don't get eaten.

don't forget to take your B12 and D.

Would you say your that diagnosis helped you understand differences that you sensed in yourself all along? Or did it come as a surprise?

The first time I heard of Asperger's, I pretty much thought "Hey, that's me!"
I've always been different and didn't know why, so it's nice to know there's a reason behind it.
