Hello all. I am new here... My name is Lady Bernkastel, or Bernkastel or Bern, whichever of these names you choose to address me with is fine. Sorry if my English is a bit odd. English isn't my native language and people often tell me that I have an overly "elegant" way of speaking. Anyway, I am glad to meet you all and hope to see you around these Forums!

Welcome to WP! Your English is just fine. (Way better than my German!) BTW, I often find that I too use more formal English at times. I wonder if that is also an Aspie trait? I believe that it is. Do you also use more formal language in your native language?

My primary language is actually Japanese. Although some of you may not believe me... Many of my American friends tell me that on the internet that there are many people that attempt to be Japanese... I find this strange however, since America is such a beautiful country so I doubt the people in America would want to be anything other than American.

It's not very often to see Japanese people here, are you from Japan? I like Japan and I wish to go there one day, I've been learning the language on and off for over 10 years and I go into some of the Japanese shops in New York City too, it's really cool.
