I'm Nick, I'm 28 and I am undiagnosed but almost certainly have high functioning autism. That hasn't slowed me down developmentally (I'm doing a PhD in physics) but it has slowed my social development down tremendously. That's the reason I came here - I've basically run out of coping mechanisms and am getting a bit frustrated with my inability to progress socially.
By way of politeness - two things to know about me. I am the best public speaker I know (turns out that's the one arena I have a tremendous advantage in). I also have a little yorkshire terrier back in England that tries to eat my hand every time I visit home.
