Hi, my name is Fabian. I'm a 16 y/o aspie from Germany. I've been diagnosed a few weeks ago.
Decided to sign up and become part of the community, rather than just sitting on the sidelines and reading posts, which is basically what I have been doing the last few days

Hello and welcome.
My Father was born in Westphalia, following my Grandparents being driven from West Prussia by the Polish persecutions of Germanics after the Treaty of Versailles.
I applied for German citizenship, but was refused as my parents were not married at the time, yet I see many third world people being given German citizenship and they have no German blood at all?
Not your fault, I just wonder if Germans are aware of their own countries policies against their own kind?

Hi,

many German residents around here apparently. I live myself in Germany nowadays, Ruhrgebiet. My family seems to be traveling back and forth a bit too. My Grandfather ended up here, pretty much in the area where I now live, due to what happened after the second world war. He brought his young son with him, my father that is, who eventually moved back to Belgium. And I moved to this place due to a job. I couldn't find one in my sector at home, even when I was much younger.

I do not know my German stepfamily though.
