To sort out my meta cognitive perspective on late life aspergers diagnosis I have been blogging. About that experience, about work, communication, relationships. But also about neurodiversity, DSM, and understanding aspergers. The blogs get very few comments. Why is that? NOt that the community is not opinionated :). I love to hear what is relevant for you to read. That will inspire me to write more! Encouragement is a strong drug. And keeps me focussed.

Without it I’m just talking to myself. While I’m used to that, it doesn’t inspire me very much.

If “blogger” is the problem, let me know that too. And what would be a better medium. For a late fifties guy like me, such help would be appreciated :)

Noticed quite half a dozen visits from wrong planet over the last week. Zero responses. No answers to the poll. so new poll question - do you find the blog primarily boring, selfserving, wrong headed, ill informed, waste of time, all of the above?

A blog without comments does not mean its not being read. No one is obliged to give feedback.

I find it difficult to read to gave a decent opinion on it.

I found the blog's format difficult to read (The "Blogger" issue). No links on the side to posts, no "about me", nothing of that sort.

As far as I can tell, it does'nt get found under Google under it's proper name, but that might be weak search fu on my side.

I'm going to take another stab at reading the blog. It looks like you've put a lot of writing out there.

May I suggest asking a mod to move this thread to "General"? It would get more WPers to look at it in a busier board, since I really only stumbled accross this thread by accident.

I'm sending you a PM.

Thank you so much for this helpful feedback. I did put some time into it and like it to be useful.

Recognize the problems. Any specific suggestion? Happy to try anything better? With different format. Love to move to a better 'location". Saw some really interesting writers on worldpress. With lots of comments and cross references. But don't want to keep on moving.

Sadly, I'm not a blogging expert. :(

Well, for the record, i tried to respond, but I think I failed. I left the picker at its default of Google Account, as I have one of those somewhere, but perhaps I needed to already be logged in. Anyway, the comment appeared to disappear.

On the topic of how to make blogs interesting, I don't know. I've tried a few, over the years, without any success at all. No indications, ever, that anyone had ever read them. Perhaps it's an aspie thing?
