Hello everyone. Wow...not sure what to say after I finally joined. LOL. Anyway, I know my username says YoungAtHeart but it is ACTUALLY meant to read as "Young@Heart." So just remember that if you may. 
Forgive me if this is a weird way to introduce myself, but I didn't want to go into details of my behavior in my first post. I just wanted to come here so I can talk to a group of people similar to myself without actually having a face to face meeting. It's more comfortable for me. I have always preferred blogging to that sort of thing anyways.
Anyway, I know it's short. Just wanna get this out there so I can let everybody know I'm here!

Thanks for welcoming me in my post earlier today. I like feeling appreciated... it's not something that I'm used to. This forum seems like a good place for me. I confess that I wasn't feeling the best when I signed up this morning but after contributing to the discussions and reading what others are saying, I'm feeling loads better!
You mentioned that you like owls too! That's awesome! I think Barn and Barred are the sweetest looking owls with their big brown eyes! So cute! I'm kind of nutty about collecting owls. Even my iPod case is shaped like an owl. I love it.

Yeah, and I always thought Barn Owls were cool. I like the Snowy Owls. And burrowing owls. They're cute. There's this Movie Legend Of The Guardians about owls and my favorite character is a burrowing owl. (I love the movie...I have it on DVD. )

No, I've never heard of it before...I haven't read any of the Legend Of The Guardians books either. I don't really want to either after reading that the characters had different personalities than that of the movie. (And there were more of them too) they seem darker too and more violent. But you read them so you oughtta know.
And I hope they make a sequel too because there are SO many books in that series!
Oh BTW do you have a favorite character? Mine's Digger. He's the burrowing owl.
