Well, just discovered this site.

I am a late in life diagnosed Aspie from Australia.

Was diagnosed a few years ago in my late 30s.

So far it has been a liberating journey of self discovery and self improvement.

I am a fervent advocate of lifelong learning and have approached my diagnosis from this perspective.

To my mind, it is not so much about changing myself to fit into the NT paradigm as it is to understand more about myself and therefore make my life easier and by extension to lives of my loved ones

Just to complicate matters, I also have 4 year old triplet boys.

Triplets cool you don't get that very often.

Hey Sharkgirl,

Was curious if there were many other Aussies here.

Interesting fact, out of the triplets there are two that are monozygotic. One of them displays many ASD traits and I am personally leaning toward him being on the spectrum, the other does not.

Blows me away considering the proposition of genetic predisposition with regard to ASD.
