Just want to introduce myself a bit. I am a 38 year old mother of 4 children ages ranging from 18-10. I am undiagnosed but pretty sure I am on the spectrum, definitely not NT. I have always been a bit of an odd duck, and never quite fit in with the world. My youngest is diagnosed with bipolar/adhd/aspergers.

I am going to school to become a web developer/designer.

I am separated from NT husband of 19 years as of about 2 weeks ago.

Anyways, I look forward to meeting everyone

sorry about your separation - it can cause a lot of stress.

luckily your kids are old enough to help out some.

I didn't figure out I had AS until I was 55 after my nephew was diagnosed.

I admit I am scared to death about divorcing...I have kind of defined myself as a wife and mother. Although for the past 3 years my husband has been gone most of the time, due to his job, and that has allowed me to figure out more of who I am, which has led to us growing further apart because I can't pretend to be what he needs any longer. If I ever get in any kind of relationship again, I think it will be with another aspie...but for now I just need to get thru this thing in one piece!
