Anyone with Radio Controlled Vehicles as their INTEREST?

I am just asking... I have a couple vids that I made with my RC vehicles as the platforms... including my quadcopter that I just finished modding today.

Every time I picked up a combustion-engined Traxxas was a blast, but my cash goes to mountain bikes and my daily driver these days. I can't wait to get a camera drone going! That would make for some awesome days riding & skiing!

You don't even need a drone for that... the gopro hd hero 3 silver edition is only $199... and you can get some great shots.

Yeah I wanna wait until pre-programming quadrotors gets a little easier before I invest. It would be great to have a big set I have a decent lo-res helmetcam though, I'd love to put it on a chase buggy sometime! I just might PM you when I find the cash for a downhill bike.

I'm very interested in it but I really don't have the money. I'm on a tight College Student budget.

Honestly, the smaller ones are not terribly expensive... my quadcopter was only 300

Yeah, I'm a college student and unemployed. I really can't drop 300 onto a new hobby.

Some time ago I did visit a booth in the mall run by a local RC club and that was fun. I played with computer RC simulator. Eventually, I chose a simulated heavy RC Apache style copter and got fairly comfortable flying it. Some guy ask me if I'd flown RC before but I never have.

i do understand that...

If I wasn't using it for my film, I don't think I could justify it either...
