I've been lurking for a while having recently been diagnosed with ASD (Asperger's) by a clinical psychologist.

It took me weeks to find someone in my area who was able to diagnose an adult with ASD. My GP thinks I'm a self-diagnosing hypochondriac.

I work in creative industries generally (film, fashion and design) but am currently rather unemployable due to anxiety and depression (caused by being unemployed - it's all rather circular.)

The Asperger's diagnosis is slowly settling in and I'm going through a few ups and downs while I adjust my thinking around my previous (and current) mental ill-health and how they all relate...
