Hey, this is my first post. In one week from today I am going to get "tested" for ASD. What can I expect to encounter during the srceening. Questioaires? Tests? Interview? I am nervous, as I always need to know ahead of time what to expect. I am. 27 if that helps. Thanks.

You might do all of those things. The only one I know for sure will happen is the interview/discussion part -- from reading people's stories on here, different practitioners seem to have different ways of conducting assessments.

I did a long interview and a lot of tests over two full days. And also the neuropsychologist spoke to my mom after to find out more about what I was like when I was a little kid.

^ Pretty much the same for me. If you're nervous about it, it's really not that big of a deal.

Welcome to Wrong Planet, by the way. Don't let the CAPTCHAs scare you off.

I hate IQ tests. I had one when young and one when I was in high school. I was significantly stressed then and scored lower. I just kinda BSed my way through it. I just didn't care about all the stuff the school put me through.
