Hi... I'm Ana, and I'm really shy. I have Asperger's Syndrome and severe social phobia. I like video games, writing, music, and art. I'm working on some original fiction...it's not going to be very epic, even though it's in four parts. It's written with the intention of becoming a video game. ...not like it ever will... I'd need a team; someone who can program, someone who can do pixel art, someone with musical talent for a wide range of genres... Bottom line is that it's not gonna happen.
Um, I'm really bad at socializing. I can't deal with people, because I'm completely unlikable. ...don't see it? You will... If my complete inability to be positive doesn't do it, my, um, bizarre mentality will.
I'm also completely new to this "forum" thing... I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.

Welcome :)

You'll get there, forums are confusing if you never used one before.

Hi Ana. You are most welcome here. :) There are plenty of people here who have some degree of social anxiety (as you may have figured out from browsing the posts already). Don't worry too much about being negative. I can be negative too (like after every positive thing I say I have the bad habit of saying "but..." x negative thing, and that can annoy people, even annoys me when I do it). If you want to be more positive that is good. At the same time we all have to come here as we are to a certain extent, because what else can we do (if that makes any sense??) So yeah, I hope you'll be able to join in if you want to and find some people you can relate to. This is a really large forum but you'll get the hang of it if you look around at the different categories and find some you are interested in. I'm still finding hidden corners.

Welcome to WP.

It might be helpful, to try and keep an open mind and not expect failure. You are among others on the spectrum and really the main thing is to just communicate. We all have a lot of shared traits or tendencies, so you may find yourself quite the norm in this crowd. Maybe pick up something that makes you think or can use here and there.
