I never once heard some authority figure rattle off a list of rules and been able to consider the possibility that any of them were were meant for me. Only when the authority is at least congruent with my own moral code and not oppressive to my personal star can any code of conduct be acknowledged by me. If I choose to comply, it is because it is in my best interest not to violate my personal discipline. I make my own rules and my rules are always best.
I need only a full heart for my guide.
Anyone else feel like a highlander sometimes? Like no one will ever be able to reach you? Like a full-on outsider?

Hello yes.
I'm new.
Really thought I was alone in the world.

Well, you're definitely not sheeple. You'd probably last for only a week or two at my job. Where I work you're supposed to freely have your will subjugated to the whims and caprices of a few, kind of like being one of the loyal subjects of South Korea.

There is only one cardinal rule of ethics that is NEVER to be violated: No person or persons has the right to initiate the use of force or violence for any reason whatsoever! There are NO exceptions. None! Ever! To phrase this another way: no victim, no crime. Period. End of statement.

There is no government that does not violate this rule on a continual basis. Therefore, there is no ethical government anywhere.
