Hello everyone, my name is Stephanie and I am the mother of a 4 yr old autistic boy whose name is Jared. We reside in Mobile, Alabama. Jared was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at the age of two and recieved Early Intervention until his 3rd birthday. He started the new school year at the age of 3 at our local public school. Public school has actually done a lot of good. I finally broke down last year with his "official" diagnosis of Autism and agreed to put him on medications. The two prescribed were Risperdal and Focalin. These two seem to be working well so far, we still have some hyperness but all in all he is more focused and is starting to talk!
