I'm from Brazil and during at last three years i'm educated and informed about autism spectrum. When i read the psycho-behavior traits and also your bio-correlactions i'm see myself as asperger. But, i note also that the most characteristic and central traits, responsibles to create the common stereotype related with Asperger syndrome i no have. Well, so i decide make the on-line famous asperger test and my results was ''borderline'' to be a an aspie, between 120 to 140 to 200. During my life at least this moment, i make few friends, i'm very introverted, shy, stuttering and exhibit strong tendencies to obsession and specialization. The first matter obsession was the dinosaurs (quite common in the 90's kids), the second and strong matter obession was with capital country names ( i decorate, i believe, at least 60% of 200 official nations of UN). For it, i beggin my specialization with Geography, specially the human geography. Now, i'm passionate with ''hbd'' things (two years before i'm concentrated in demography). Psychology and philosophy are my passions also now. And decide writes poetry. I also have hipermania and great imagination, developed during my childhood.
I discover this site make two years before and interest me a lot because i'm interest today in psychology matters. I got the impression that majority of aspergers and high functioning autistic people are more smart than neurotypical average people. Believe that have commorbity with other neurodiversity, when i got 13 year old, was diagnoses with ''maniac depressive disorder'' but i dislike because i do not extremes mood variation and i read that the mood alternations in bipolar people happen during weeks, in other words, happen for long period and simply do not have this simptoms.
I'm very happy to be accept here and hope contribute with the community. Sorry by my lazy english, i'm in process to learn your tongue.

Thanks!! !

:)

I'm mostly fluent in international Spanish and I can at least interpret Portuguese, feel free to PM me if you need some clarification. Gramatically you're spot on, simply not for this hemisphere, it's quite clearly just a few English conventions you have left to learn. I know how frivolous they can be...

Hi Goddard! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Yes, you are having some problems with your English grammar, but you have made a lot of progress, as I had no trouble understanding your letter. My brother's grammar isn't too good, either, so don't feel bad about it, just keep at it.

You also seem to be doing a good job of researching your condition, and yes, Asperger's often comes with other conditions along for the ride. I have several of my own. I think my own research has helped me understand myself better, and that helped reduce my depression.

Keep up with your English studies, and your research, and keep visiting WP! You are among friends here! :D

Is very interesting while the majority of the spanish-speaking can't understand portuguese, us, the portuguese-speaking people can understand spanish. For most of ous, the spanish is look like as one portuguese with accent. My opinion, the english is the most latinized of the north-european tongues. Thanks by your comprehension, but them are right about that. In fact, is important to learn well one language.
I improved very well my english in the last months. Permanently i dislike to grammar, detail, my momm are portuguese teacher and love the same.
Thanks for your observations!!

Thanks, well, i believe that have atypical autism type or am only more one nerd. But, how Temple Grandin and Paul Cooijman say, nerds would like as aspergers with ''high functioning''.

Thanks very well to its words, well, i have few friends, but they are two great friends that i make in the college. I also have problems to interpret the social signs and my best friend say to me that i'm cold but isn't true.
How i said in my presentation text, wait to contribute with all of you!! !
