Hi! As you might have surmised I'm new to this site and wish to introduce myself.
(clears throat)
My name is AJ, I'm 17, and I was diagnosed with AS 3 years ago.
I Just want to say how comforting it is to communicate with others like myself, and how great it was to find a site like this.

It is my dearest hope that while I am here I can communicate with people who truly understand where I'm coming from. Because while I love the majority of my family and friends, and vice versa, they truly don't understand a lot of the things I try to convey to them.

It is a truly a pleasure to speak with you all, and in time I hope become friends with you as well.

Lets give some background on me for the curious.

Name: AJ/Ramius

age: 17

Characteristics: I exhibit a lot of AS characteristics, though in recent years i've gained better control of some of the more negative ones. I have trouble keeping eye contact with people, but I am a lot more social than I used to be. My obsessions include just about every piece of well written literature in the English language, History, Epic RPG's, the history of the CIA.

I'd love to know more about you. I'm new to this site too and trying to get to know more about my son through others. He's just not very articulate at age 10 so I think I can learn alot here to help him along his path.

I love history, too. I'm also into spies and military. What period in history to like that best? So, if you want someone to talk to about history I'm more than willing to. (I'm minoring in history in college.)
