New to this whole thing and going crazy!!

Hi everbody! My name is Marna-- I'm a 30 yr old mom w/ a 6 yr old son, who was recently diagnosed w/ Asperger's combined w/ ADHD. I'm pretty new to the whole thing and still trying to "figure it out" so to speak and would appreciate any advice anyone can give me on how to deal w/ some of his more "extreme" obsessive behaviors or even anyone who can relate to the whole frustration aspect of it and basically just offer some support! Either way-- it'd just be nice to be able to chat! Thanks!

If you'd describe in particular what this "extreme" behaviour is, we'll be more likely to be able to help you.

sorry about that-- some of his more "extreme" behaviors lately, would include a fascination w/ his feces (i.e. playing with it, smearing it everywhere or just studying it in general) as well as having violent outbursts at school which include hurling chairs and what not at the other kids, or banging his head against the walls or concrete. Sorry, but it's very heartbreaking when I get a call from his school, saying the sherriff's deputy had to take him into custody (yes, I'm talking about using restraints on him), to keep him from hurting himself or one of the other children.
