...or this Solar System, Universe, for that matter!

I am a middle aged female, not officially diagnosed, but believe I am on the spectrum.
I have been working so hard at this my whole life - "learned behavior"...acting the part
and trying to fit in. I am just exhausted and so tired of making it all work - totally against
who I really am. As for science, well, let's just say there's enough evidence to back up my
Suspicions ad what I feel I have known my whole life. Not just pop-psych quizzes or what I
read on the interwebs - there is neuro background and experience there.

Right now I am taking steps towards finding others nearby...
And hopefully the right assistance!

Not official here either -
The one time I tried to get a diagnosis, the "doc" said I didn't have any of the "physical characteristics they expected to see" and sent me on my merry way.
So what was it that tipped you off to look into "the spectrum"?

Well, having family diagnosed PDD-NOS nonverbal autistic is of importance, and many
(Too many!) co morbid conditions present have caused me to study and consider the possibilities and characteristics that "fit".
I plan to go (appointment next week) see the folks with letters behind their names...
