Hello, I'm new here

I write on french autistics forums for several years, not diagnosed, have gifted therapy for 6 years

I'm searching news about selective eating disorder since early childhood (less than 10 foods consumed)

Is somebody have links of discussions in this forum about this issue ?

alexis

Welcome Alexis!

First of all know that You are not alone in Your selective food disorder, since about the age of 5 I only eat pretty much plain stuff, anything like beans, ham or curry I hate... even though I've never tried them the thought of eating them is horrible, I reckon if I was locked in a store packed with food like that I'd probably end up starving to death...

For example my Mum and I gone to the hospital once to try and figure out my disorder, at the time I was a kid and underweight, and the person there gave my Mum some ' tips ' to how to get my lessen the impact of my disorder, they were pretty ridiculous, I heard her saying '' Put a pea on his plate and see what happens ' Rubbish stuff, but anyway I've got to about average weight now ( 8 stone ) which is alright I guess.

Anyway if You're willing to look for some topics about what You want theres a custom search bar at the top of the page that leads You to anything You mentioned thats in the WP archives.

Enjoy Your stay!

<--- Loves beans, ham and curry and would be glad to get trapped in a store with those items.
