New to the forums. Diagosed Aspergers and coming to grips with it.
However, a long conversation with the missus/higher management (who is very well versed in the autism spectrum because of our twins) indicates that there were very clear indicators even when we first met that I had these 'odd quirks.'
All these years, I thought I was inexplicably strange--no one I ever met seemed to 'get me'. You know?
At least now, knowing it's Aspergers, I can finally forgive a lot of the odd quirks and go 'it's not because I'm odd/whiny/having a childlike tantrum/saying inappropriate things....it's because I have Aspergers.'
Not that I'm blaming it on THAT, I'm trying to see all of what I do that correlates with Aspergers and then learning to work proper avenues.
