Hello all. This is just to say a quick hello and to say that I'm interested in getting to know people from Edinburgh. Hey! And hey to everyone else.

I'm on the other side of the Forth, but I come into Edinburgh when my social anxiety lets me. Keen to make some friends, too.

Firth of Forth - you know, that big estuary to the North of where you are. Walk out the door, turn north, keep going until you hit Leith, then keep going until you get your feet wet.

Edinburgh has a good independent local asperger society, meeting 3 times a month and sometimes casually even more. If googling us, our new and proper website comes up second now. Our defunct no longer functional old site hosted by a former member still comes up first, because of all the past hits and links.

Its regulars have got mysteriously stuck in the position of all being male. If that discourages women, then it will be a self sustaining circle and never change, we just need it to change by natural statistical chance. The younger users of the facility where we meet are mixed gender and join us socially sometimes.
