Ironically, I self-diagnosed myself after researching interactive toys for autistic children. My startup company decided to look into autistic kids as a possible market. I had no previous knowledge or association with autism. As I researched autism, I started to feel a disturbance in the force. I initially ignored it, but eventually came to a tearful epiphany. At 54 years old, I feel very relieved to finally have a possible explanation for my life experience. Maybe some of you can identify. Looking forward to this forum!

Welcome Runs. I'm new here too. Yea, i can relate to that feeling. Mine's with relationships. Now I don't have to keep on asking the "why" question. Relieving. Now I'm more into accept me as I am way of thinking. I won't try to change myself for someone anymore. Not if it'll ruin me.

Welcome :D

Glad you got there in the end. Toys for children with autism sounds like a promising idea, hope all goes well.
